Lucite Questions
What is lucite made from, and how durable is it?
Lucite is a clear acrylic - it has the sparkle of glass or crystal but is lighter and much more break-resistant, so it holds up to daily use on a busy counter or a crowded Shabbos table. A damp cloth is all it needs to look new again.
What kinds of lucite pieces do you carry?
The collection spans serving trays, cake trays, storage jars and canisters, ice buckets, pitchers, washing cups, wig stands and picture frames - clear acrylic versions of the pieces a home already uses every day.
What sizes do lucite trays and bowls come in?
Trays range from a compact 6" x 10" up to a generous 14" x 20", and smaller bowls and dip dishes run around 4" across - enough range to set a full table.
Do lucite pieces make good gifts?
Yes - a lucite honey jar, tzedakah box, or gold-rim picture frame all make a polished gift for a new home, a bar mitzvah, or any simcha, and every piece here is on sale.
